Ukraine, Lavrov: ‘Europe has excluded itself from the negotiations’

Rome, 30 November. (LaPresse) – Europe ‘excluded itself’ from the peace talks on Ukraine, nullifying all previous agreements. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov. “Europe failed to reach the initial agreement of February 2014, doing nothing when the opposition occupied all government institutions the morning after the document was signed. Similarly, Europe failed to comply with the Minsk agreements,‘ he said, according to Tass. ’And, of course, the last time this happened was in April 2022, when, at the request of Boris Johnson, with the total non-resistance – if not consent – of Europe, the Istanbul agreements collapsed,” he added.
