Brussels, Nov. 13 (LaPresse) – The European Commission has published the Erasmus+ 2026 call for proposals, offering new funding opportunities in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport across Europe and beyond. With a budget of approximately €5.2 billion for 2026, the program continues to invest in skills development and citizenship education through mobility and cross-border cooperation projects. The European Executive reports this in a statement, specifying that, faithful to its traditional support for mobility and cooperation, in 2026 the Erasmus+ program will support more partnerships and mobility in the school sector. This initiative, it is specified, will help organizations test and implement innovative teaching methods that promote basic skills, supporting the EU’s efforts in civic engagement, democratic participation, and the promotion of shared values.
