USA: House Republicans publish 23,000 pages of documents on Epstein case

Washington (USA), Nov. 12 (LaPresse) – House Republicans on the Oversight Committee have published 23,000 pages of documents acquired in recent months from the heirs of former financier Jeffrey Epstein. After months of delay, the decision came just hours after Democrats released some of Epstein’s emails suggesting that President Trump was aware of Epstein’s sex trafficking activities and had “spent hours” with one of the victims. The documents released today were obtained by the chairman of the House Oversight Committee, Representative James Comer, via a subpoena in August. The publication of the documents appears to be an attempt by Republicans to protect themselves from accusations of not having disclosed all the documents in their possession about Epstein, to shield President Trump.
