Rome, 1 October (LaPresse) – The death toll in the Philippine province of Cebu has risen to at least 61 after a 6.9-magnitude earthquake struck the area late on Tuesday night. This was reported by local media, citing the Provincial Office for Disaster Risk Reduction and Management. The epicentre of the earthquake was located in the city of Bogo, where at least 27 victims have been confirmed.
