Netanyahu rejects accusations of genocide at the UN

Milan, Sept. 26 (LaPresse) – “Consider the accusation of genocide. Israel is accused of deliberately targeting civilians, but that is not true. Would a country committing genocide ever urge its population to leave? No. Instead, it is Hamas that wants them to stay there. Did the Nazis ask the Jews to leave before the army entered?” This was stated by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, speaking at the UN General Assembly. Netanyahu argued that Israel is doing everything it can to avoid civilian casualties in Gaza and to feed civilians, accusing Hamas instead of using civilians as human shields and stealing humanitarian aid.
