Madrid (Spain), Sept. 23 (LaPresse) – The Spanish Council of Ministers has approved a decree-law containing “urgent measures against the genocide in Gaza and in support of the Palestinian population,” which includes four measures. The first measure is the “strengthening of the total arms embargo on Israel,” explained Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo at a press conference, emphasizing that this includes “the prohibition to export to Israel and to import from Israel defense material and dual-use technology products.” “The Spanish government continues to lead international efforts by taking a step forward to increase pressure on the Israeli government, in defense of peace, international security, and human rights,” Cuerpo said.
