Russia-US, Moscow: “Lavrov-Rubio meeting on the sidelines of UN assembly”

Milan, Sept. 19 (LaPresse) – According to Vasily Nebenzya, Russia’s permanent representative to the United Nations, a meeting is scheduled on the sidelines of the 80th session of the UN General Assembly between Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio. “This is their first meeting since 2021,” he said in an interview with Russia-24. “I cannot reveal the details yet because they do not exist,” the diplomat added. “It is clear they will discuss a wide range of issues, both bilateral and multilateral. There is no agenda yet, but such a meeting is expected.”
