Work accident: worker killed by forklift truck during night shift in Bologna area

Bologna, August 21 (LaPresse) – A 28-year-old worker died last night, around 1:30 a.m., after being run over by a forklift in Marmorta di Molinella, in the province of Bologna. This was confirmed by the Carabinieri. According to initial reports, the young man was operating a forklift, likely to move bags of pellets inside the Green Energy company on Via Zanolini, when, possibly due to a brake not being engaged, he was run over and crushed. The worker, who would have turned 29 on September 7, was of Pakistani origin and lived in the Ferrara area.
