Huge waves wreaks havoc on oceanside wedding; in a day to remeber bride, groom and wedding party run for their lives as food and drink - and the wedding cake - vanish in the sea.
(LaPresse) A series of giant waves ruined a seashore wedding ceremony that was taking place in the Hawaiian Islands. A video surfaced on social media showing how what happened in Kailua-Kona, on the west coast of Hawaii’s Big Island. As soon as the waves became threatening, the guests started running in the opposite direction. The force of the sea swallowed palm trees, chairs and tables, flooding the entire reception area before receding. No people were injured among the guests and the cake was saved: later the ceremony resumed without further ado.
