Oslo: At the scene of the shooting, police take away the bodies of the victims

Police wondering if attack was motivated by Pride Day parade

(LaPresse) A gunman opened fire in three different locations in the Oslo nightlife district, killing two people and seriously injuring 10. One of the shootings took place outside the London Pub, a bar popular with the city’s LGBTQ community, just hours before the Pride parade began. Norwegian police say they do not rule out the hypothesis that the attack was linked to the parade. The event was canceled by oganizers out of respect for the victims.
