Massive fire consumes 8,000 tons of boxes and paper
(LaPresse) About 8,000 tons of cardboard and paper erupted in flames in a massive fire that broke out in a packaging plant in Birmingham, England. More than 100 firefighters worked through the night to put out the flames. Authorities advised residents to keep doors and windows closed due to smoke from the fire. Firefighters said teams will likely remain there for a several days to ensure the blaze is extinguished.
