Specialists are on scene with tools to widen passages and extract first responders and injured spelunker
(LaPresse) Rescuers worked through the night to widen passages in a Sardinian cave in order to rescue an injured explorer. Workers and paramedics were deep inside the S’Edera cave, over 500 m from the entrance, and about around 180 meters deep. First responders reached the injured mak yesterday, and today two experts arrived with specialized tools aboard and Italian Air Force helicopter.
