Two bombs went off at the city's Zaventem airport and one at Maelbeek metro station

The king of Belgium Philippe laid a wreath at a metro station today on the fifth anniversary of the Brussels terror attack. In addition to the 32 dead, another 340 were hurt, many of them grievously in crowds in the airport and metro station. The royals held a moment of silence at Maelbeek station at 9.11am, the exact time a bomb went off on a metro train on March 22, 2016.  Two ISIS suicide bombers left off another two explosion that same day at the city’s Zaventem airport.

Prime Minister Alexander De Croo said: “Five years ago, the unthinkable happened, five years ago, evil struck. Three devastating explosions. Two in our national airport. One in a metro train at Maelbeek station,”
