Second term for the President of Portugal, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, elected in full pandemic with 61% of the votes. Rebelo de Sousa, center-right moderate and former leader of the Portuguese Social Democratic Party. He devoted most of his victory speech to Covid and the health emergency, saying his first thoughts went to his victims and promising to work for an economic recovery. “I will be the president of all Portuguese,” De Sousa said.
