After one year spent in the space twelve bottles of Bordeaux wine are returning to earth
SpaceX’s Dragon cargo capsule undocked with 12 bottles of Bordeaux wine, sent to the International Space Station over a year ago by a Luxembourg startup is about to return to earth. This is an experiment whose objective was to study the potential effects of microgravity and space radiation on wine and the aging process. The twelve bottles of Bordeaux – this is the wine chosen for the experiment – will then be opened in early February for a tasting. The capsule is aiming for a splashdown in the Gulf of Mexico off the Florida coast Wednesday night.
