The documentary 'Sophia!', which will be aired tonight on Rai1 on the occasion of Loren's 88th birthday, was presented last night at Palazzo Ischitella in Naples.
“The idea comes from the fact that we have so much photographic and video material, it was a shame not to open this part of documentaries. It is a great honor for me to be here today and to have my say on the film part as well,” says LaPresse President Marco Durante, who is producer of the film together with Rai documentaries.
The docufilm premiered last night at cinema Filangieri in Naples as part of the Campania film and fiction gala. “This documentary by Marco Spagnoli has among its merits that of showing us unpublished aspects of Sophia, revealing very thoroughly her humanity, her determination, together with the great visibility she has always had, the construction of a very great and legendary career, which knows no interruptions – observes the president of the Film Commission Campania, Titta Fiore – This film also makes us see with greater clarity the most hidden part of her, there are interviews in which Sophia tells herself without veils and this is very interesting.”
