(LaPresse) Elton John paid tribute to Queen Elizabeth II during a concert in Toronto on Thursday night. “She was amazing, she led the country through some of our greatest and darkest moments with grace and a sincere, caring warmth. I am 75 years old. She has been with me all my life. I’m very sad that she will no longer be with me, but I’m glad she’s at peace, she deserves it because she worked so hard,” he said before playing “Don’t Let the Sun Go Down on Me.”
