Police believe crimes may be linked to July 7 (7/11) date.
(LaPresse) California police report that two people were killed and three wounded in a series of robberies pulled off at six 7-Eleven stores yesterday. The crimes in San Bernardino, Riverside and Orange counties occurred at dawn and authorities say at least three involved the same robber. Police believe the date of July 11, or 7/11, has something to do with the incidents. The robberies occurred in the cities of Ontario, Upland, Riverside, Santa Ana, Brea and La Habra.
