Two adults who tried to rescue him are still missing

(LaPresse) Search teams found the body of the 10-year-old boy overwhelmed on Monday 13 June by the waters of a drainage channel in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The canal was filled with water following severe storms in a large swath of the Midwest and parts of the southern United States. The child was playing near the canal when he slipped and was swept away by the strong currents. Two adults in their thirties dived into the canal in an attempt to save the baby, but were dragged away as well. The child’s body was found during a search in the city’s drainage tunnels. The two adults are still missing.
