Milan, 20 Oct. (LaPresse) – “In the Champions League, every match is a tough one; we’re up against ambitious teams who come to San Siro with nothing to lose. It won’t be an easy match; we need to have the desire and the right attitude to get the result. That’s something we’d like to have, starting tomorrow evening.” These were the words of Inter manager Cristian Chivu, speaking to Sky Sport on the eve of the Champions League match against Shakhtar Donetsk. Inter are under pressure to win following two defeats in their first two matches. “I always take responsibility for what I don’t do and what I could improve on; I focus on finding the key to doing the right things,” he added. “I want my players to be aware of the importance of these matches, but I’d like them to enjoy themselves even in the face of difficulties and adversity. That’s what helps you secure victory in the Champions League,” concluded Chivu.
