However, we need to be able to tap into that energy in every match, whether it’s the Coppa Italia, Serie A or the Champions League. Parma have one point and are coming off the back of a draw with Monza, but Fabregas is not considering making changes to the line-up. “There’s still more than 24 hours to go and a player can recover a lot in that time. The team trained very well today and everyone is available,” he said. “We know how important this match is. Parma are a very, very well-organised side; they know what they’re doing, have quality players and a manager who’s been there for a year now and knows the league and his team inside out,” he stated. “They’ll certainly come here looking to put in a great performance and will also try to gauge whether we’re a bit tired after Thursday,” he explained. Finally, on the team’s progress. “I completely agree that there are always things to improve on. Perfection doesn’t exist in football.
