Milan, 7 Sept. (LaPresse) – “Right now, the Bernabéu is my stadium, but beyond that, it always will be – ever since that May in 2010. It will always be an iconic stadium for Inter, and we’ll see what happens tomorrow. Every match is important for Real Madrid and for Inter, but there are eight of them, and I hope to face Inter again later on.” So said Real Madrid manager José Mourinho, speaking to Sky Sport on the eve of the Champions League match against Inter. “Inter are a tremendous side, a team that’s been in place for six years because, from Antonio Conte to Inzaghi to Chivu, they’ve maintained the same playing system with the same players. They can play with their eyes closed; they’re a physically strong side with great quality. The only surprise is that they haven’t won the Champions League in recent years,” he added.
