Rome, 29 Aug. (LaPresse) – “Sinner? It’s a bit strange that we won’t be seeing each other for about six or seven months. I wish him all the best. I hope he makes a truly fantastic recovery and that I’ll see him back on court at his best once again.” So said Carlos Alcaraz, ready to return to the court as the defending champion at the US Open, following the long-term wrist injury that forced him to miss Roland Garros and Wimbledon. “You’ll see Carlitos playing as he always has,” he assured, “I need to compete. My team and I believe I’m ready. It wasn’t an easy decision. I’ve simply done everything necessary to be ready.”
