Rome, 13 Aug. (LaPresse) – After 44 years, Giovanni Frattini has taken Italy back to the European Championships javelin final. With a throw of over eighty metres (80.54) – his best of the season – the Italian athlete progressed through the qualifying rounds with the seventh-best mark overall. Michele Fina, however, was eliminated, finishing 17th with 77.56.
