Rome, 7 Aug. (LaPresse) – Ginevra Taddeucci has won the bronze medal in the open-water knockout event at the European Long-Distance Swimming Championships in Paris. This is the Italian swimmer’s third medal of the Paris Championships, following her golds in the 10 km and 5 km events. Victory went to Germany’s Isabel Gose, with silver going to Hungary’s Bettina Fabian, who managed to hold off the Italian’s final surge in a photo finish.
