Rome, 26 July (LaPresse) – ‘I’m very happy’, because leading the drivers’ championship “is the best way to head into the summer break. We must keep pushing because the second half of the season will be tough.” So said Kimi Antonelli, the Mercedes driver, after finishing third in the Hungarian Grand Prix. “It was a tough race; it was difficult to overtake,” he explained. “We tried to make a one-stop strategy, but the tyres were too close to the limit, so we were forced to pit.”
