Milan, 10 July (LaPresse) – Marc Márquez was the fastest in the pre-qualifying session for the German Grand Prix, part of the MotoGP World Championship, at the Sachsenring circuit. The Spanish Ducati rider clocked a time of 1’19‘394, ahead of his compatriot Raul Fernandez (Aprilia Trackhouse) by +0’166 and Fabio Di Giannantonio (Ducati VR46) by +0″280. Seventh and eighth places went to the two factory Aprilia riders, Marco Bezzecchi, +0.612 seconds behind, and Jorge Martin, +0.617 seconds behind, whilst Pecco Bagnaia (Ducati), who was only 13th, +0.738 seconds behind, will have to go through Q1. MotoGP returns to the track on Saturday at 10.10 for Free Practice 2, whilst qualifying is scheduled for 10.50.
