(LaPresse) – A less than 100% Jannik Sinner reaches the quarterfinals of the ‘Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters’, the third “1000” of the season, with a prize pool of 6,309,095 euros, which is being played on the clay of the Country Club of Monte-Carlo, in the Principality of Monaco. The Italian tennis player, world number 2 and in the draw, defeated the Czech Tomas Machac (world number 53) in the round of 16 in three sets with the score of 6-1, 6-7 (3), 6-3. In the quarterfinals, Sinner will face Canadian Felix Auger-Aliassime, the seventh seed.
