Rome, 21 March (LaPresse) – A successful debut for Federico Giampaolo. Cremonese benefited from the change in management, beating Parma 2–0 away from home. All the action came in the second half: in the 54th minute, Maleh put the visitors ahead, and they doubled their lead in the 68th minute through Vandeputte. After four consecutive defeats – which led to Nicola’s sacking – Cremonese have snapped out of their slump, provisionally drawing level with Lecce on 27 points in the table and moving to within one point of Fiorentina, who face league leaders Inter at the Franchi tomorrow evening. This is Parma’s second consecutive defeat (still on 34 points) following last week’s 4-1 loss to Torino.
