Rome, 9 February (LaPresse) – According to LaPresse, US champion Lindsey Vonn has undergone surgery to repair a fractured femur in her left leg with a temporary external “bridge” fixator, pending definitive treatment. The surgery was performed at Ca’ Foncello Hospital, where Vonn – already recovering from a serious knee injury sustained in the World Cup – was transferred after her fall in the downhill race in Cortina.
