Genoa, official: De Rossi appointed new head coach

Rome, Nov. 6 (LaPresse) – Daniele De Rossi is the new head coach of Genoa, the Ligurian club announced in a statement. “Genoa CFC announces that it has entrusted Daniele De Rossi with the technical leadership of the first team,” the statement reads. “The new coach has already met the players and will lead the afternoon training session scheduled at the Signorini Sports Center.” The presentation to the media, together with chief of football Diego Lopez and combined with the pre-match press conference, “is scheduled for Friday at Villa Rostan headquarters, starting at 2 p.m. Genoa extends a warm welcome to Daniele De Rossi and his staff, and thanks Roberto Murgita and Domenico Criscito for yet another show of loyalty to our colors.”
