F1, US Grand Prix to remain on the World Championship calendar until 2034

Milan, 19 Oct. (LaPresse) – Formula 1 has announced an eight-year extension of the Circuit of the Americas in Austin as the venue for the United States Grand Prix until 2034. The Texas circuit has been one of the main venues for F1 since 2012 and is a key landmark in the United States for motor sports. The announcement came just hours before Sunday’s race. The Circuit of the Americas is the only purpose-built F1 circuit in the United States. The US race series has now expanded to include a stop in Las Vegas and recently extended its contract with the Miami Grand Prix until 2041.
