Tennis: the eternal Djokovic beats Bergs and flies into the semi-finals in Shanghai

At 38 years of age, the Serbian champion, former world number one, qualifies for the semi-finals of the ATP Masters 1000 tournament in Shanghai. At the end of a hard-fought, at times spectacular match, Djokovic used his greater experience to beat the talented Belgian Zizou Bergs 6-3, 7-5 after 1 hour and 50 minutes. This is Djokovic’s tenth semi-final in Shanghai, where he will now face Monegasque revelation Valentin Vacherot, who defeated Denmark’s Holger Rune (10) 2-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4.
