Volleyball: Italy wins world championship, Bulgaria defeated 3-1 in final

Turin, September 28 (LaPresse) – Italy’s men’s volleyball team remains on top of the world. The Azzurri, who entered the World Championship in the Philippines as defending champions, successfully retained the title they won in 2022 in Katowice by defeating Bulgaria in the final with a score of 3-1. The set scores were: 25-21, 25-17, 17-25, 25-10. This marks Italy’s fifth men’s world championship title, coming just three weeks after the women’s team won their own title in Bangkok.
