Turin, 26 September (LaPresse) – First gold medal for Italy at the World Cycling Championships currently underway in Rwanda. Lorenzo Finn triumphed in the Under-23 category, becoming world champion for the second time in a row after his success a year ago in the junior category. The Ligurian cyclist won alone after overtaking Switzerland’s Jan Huber, who took silver 31 seconds behind the Italian, on the final climb of Kigali Golf. Bronze went to Austria’s Marco Schrettl.
