Seven protestors stormed the route

(LaPresse) It was a forced stop for the 148.5-kilometer 10th stage of the Tour de France, from Morzine to Megève. A group of seven protesters stormed the route, complete with smoke bombs, occupying the road. For safety reasons, the organizers decided to stop the riders, with Italian Alberto Bettiol escaping alone with about 35 km to go. Seeing the stop, the riders took the opportunity to quench their thirst. The race restarted after about ten minutes.
