In collaboration with Buuball Off Colors S.S Lazio has developed a project of integration and union against all inequalities
The S.S Lazio soccer team launches the song “I Have a Dream”, in collaboration with Buuball Off Colors, interpreted by the Lazio’s soccer players in the Lazio Style Radio studios, to raise public awareness of the ethical and educational values of sport. The song, created by Maxi Gigliucci, president of Buuuball, and DJs Vincenzo Paccone and Daniele Strazzullo, is inspired by the famous phrase uttered by the man who symbolizes anti-discrimination around the world, Martin Luther King. It is his dream of union and brotherhood that we are all called to nourish every day through music and sport so that it becomes reality. Within the song, phrases such as “Stop racism, no more!”, “United against racism” and “Make a stand against racism” are articulated by Ciro Immobile, Lucas Leiva and companions to raise awareness of players, technicians, staff and fans to a constant and unreserved commitment in defense of equality between people.
The partnership includes a series of national and international initiatives that will involve the players of the male and female First Team, together with the boys of the youth sector. It starts with the launch of a visual communication campaign in which each athlete of the Company will identify himself in a slogan-phrase, in Italian and English, to denounce this social scourge.
“SS Lazio, which has always been attentive to social integration initiatives, has decided to marry the Buuuball project – says President Claudio Lotito – in the belief that football can be an instrument of union, integration and redemption, capable of breaking down any barrier”.
