The Legendary Hall of Fame baseball manager who won two World Series titles with the Los Angeles Dodgers
Legendary Hall of Fame manager Tommy Lasorda has died this Friday in Fullerton for a cardiac arrest at his home. As manager of the Los Angeles Dodgers of Major League Baseball (MLB), Lasorda won two World Series titles in 1981 and 1988, four National League pennants, and eight division titles. He was also named the National League’s Manager of the Year twice.
Lasorda became famed also for his quotes, among many one of the most popular: “Baseball is like driving, it’s the one who gets home safely that counts.”
