Cernobbio (Como), Sept. 5 (LaPresse) – “Since Vannacci is in this area, I would suggest that he visit Dongo to remember how the history he seems so nostalgic for ended. In the end, it was a flight, hiding, like cowards, after devastating the country, after staining the country with dictatorship, deportations, racial laws and collaboration with Hitler. People just need to know their history.” PD (Democratic Party) Secretary Elly Schlein said this on the sidelines of L’Altra Cernobbio, an alternative forum organized by the Sbilanciamoci! association. “Vannacci is not saying anything different from what Meloni and Salvini said before they came to government, and Italians have had ample evidence of where those ideas lead. Four years later, they lead to people being worse off, because our economy is stagnant, we have zero growth despite the investments under the NRRP, and industrial production has declined for three consecutive years,” the Democratic Party leader continued.
