Rome, 21 May (LaPresse) – Italy has “a problem of demographic decline. We need to decide whether we want to have more children. If we do have more children, then we can also say: right, let’s reduce the number of legal migrants coming to work in our businesses. But if not, we won’t have any workers.” This was stated by the Foreign Minister, Antonio Tajani, speaking on the first day of the 17th edition of the Festival del Lavoro at the La Nuvola Conference Centre in Rome. “The lower the birth rate, the more we need foreign workers in our country,” he added.
