C.sinistra, Conte: ‘Taking to the streets alongside other opposition parties to protest against the government’s foreign policy’

Rome, 14 April (LaPresse) – ‘The referendum wake-up call is having an effect. We believe that today’s statement’ by Giorgia Meloni on the failure to renew the memorandum with Israel “is directly linked to the desire of thousands and millions of citizens – and young people in particular – to have a say in this government’s policies. This is yet another reason why we will give our young people and citizens even more opportunities to take to the streets. We were already working on this, and we are also taking up the invitation from other opposition forces; we will all come together, united in the streets, to say no to this government’s shameful foreign policy.” So said M5S leader Giuseppe Conte, speaking in the Chamber of Deputies. Thank you, President Conte. Yesterday, Elly Schlein proposed a street mobilisation by the progressive front for peace and social justice.
