C.Sinistra, Salis: ‘Primaries? I won’t be taking part and I won’t be backing anyone’

Genoa, 24 March (LaPresse) – “I am certainly flattered by this attention; it is undoubtedly a mark of esteem that I am receiving. But, as I have always said, I am the mayor of Genoa and I do not wish to take part; I am making it clear right from the start that if there are primaries, I will not comment on any of the candidates.” So said the mayor of Genoa, Silvia Salis, when asked about the possibility of national coalition primaries within the centre-left and the suggestion that her name might be among those put forward for a potential candidacy.
