Milan, 5 March (LaPresse) – ‘Chaos breeds chaos, and what we are facing is one of the most difficult months that humanity has experienced in the last 70-80 years’: what is happening after the US and Israeli attack on Iran and Tehran’s reaction ‘may influence the war in Ukraine’. This was stated by Defence Minister Guido Crosetto during his address to the Senate on the situation in Iran and the Gulf countries. ‘The chaos that this crisis has unleashed,’ he said, ‘risks exacerbating other situations of chaos that are already ongoing.’ ‘The Ukrainian front may worsen with this crisis, because Putin is in great difficulty in Russia, not because anyone is against the war, but because the more nationalist faction is criticising him for not yet ending the war and has been calling on him for months to upgrade the weapons he is using. So, in a world of increasing chaos, Russia’s relationship with Ukraine could also change,’ Crosetto stressed.
