Sanremo: La Russa calls Pucci, reconsider

Rome, 8 February (LaPresse) – “I called my friend Andrea Pucci to express my support and invite him to reconsider. I understand his decision, taken as the decent person he is, but my hope is that he will change his mind. I have always maintained that satire cannot and should not be censored: I believed this when comedians who were openly left-wing took to the stage at Sanremo, and I say it today with Pucci. My sympathy goes out to him and his family for the threats they have received.” These are the words of Senate President Ignazio La Russa.
