Milan, Feb. 7 (LaPresse) – “The First President of the Court of Cassation, with regard to the controversies raised after the recent measure of the Central Office for the referendum, emphasizes that the decisions of judicial bodies can always be criticized on a technical level with legal arguments. On the other hand, personal insinuations against judges are not tolerable, as they result in a delegitimization of the judicial function. This is even more serious with respect to the panel of the Central Office for the referendum, whose composition is predetermined directly and exclusively by law.” This was stated in a note by the First President of the Court of Cassation, Pasquale D’Ascola.
