Alzheimer, Locatelli: “It is important to ensure adequate support and services”

Rome, Sept. 21 (LaPresse) – “Today, on World Alzheimer’s Day, I send my thoughts to all those living with this disease and to their families, who face complex challenges and difficulties with courage every day,” said Minister for Disabilities Alessandra Locatelli in a statement. “This day reminds us of the importance of providing concrete support, adequate services, and a network of supportive communities. The daily work of operators, volunteers, researchers, and associations is fundamental; with professionalism and dedication, they support patients and caregivers,” she added. “Together, we must continue to promote awareness, prevention, and care pathways capable of respecting the dignity of every person.”
