"I tried to explain that like all matters I do not think the issue is ideological. In the NPRP the priorities of the Next Generation EU are imagined before the conflict in Ukraine," she added.

(LaPresse) The NPRP?

I believe that we need a coupon to see if there are priorities that need to be reviewed or, I quote the most trivial thing in the world, the updating of calls to the cost of raw materials. We are in danger of this money not coming ashore today, since we are already behind schedule. So it’s simply a matter of sitting down with the Commission and assessing together whether this is the most effective way to use these resources or whether there are adjustments to be made. This is what I have been saying from the beginning and this is what I think. That’s what all serious nations are doing.”

Fratelli d’Italia President Giorgia Meloni said this on the sidelines of an election initiative in Turin.

“I tried to explain that like all matters I do not think the issue is ideological. In the NPRP the priorities of the Next Generation EU are imagined before the conflict in Ukraine,” she added.

And on the Aid Decree: “It obviously contains some measures that are at this stage important to try to calm down from the issue of bills onwards. It’s a measure on which, regardless of the fact that FdI is in opposition to the government, we ensured if nothing else that we were present in the chamber so that it would be approved in the election campaign, because there was a risk that in the end there would be no presence, and we withdrew a good part of our amendments. Some remained on some issues that we felt were of particular importance. But in short, we ensured that the measure could run expeditiously. We don’t agree with it all, but there are some important measures.”
