"Children must go to school and war must stay out": Piedmont Regional President Alberto Cirio
(LaPresse) “Children must go to school and war must stay out.” This was said by Piedmont Regional President Alberto Cirio, speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the opening of the school year at the Leonardo Da Vinci Institute in Turin. The governor responded to those who asked him about the possibility of putting a short week in school as a measure against high energy prices. “Making the week short would mean giving in to the fact that war also enters schools, so let’s find other solutions,” Cirio reiterated.
