Arezzo, Nov. 1 (LaPresse) – State Police have detained a 29-year-old man suspected of murdering a 62-year-old man found dead during the night in the San Zeno area, on the outskirts of Arezzo, with a head injury. At around 11:30 p.m. yesterday, an emergency call was received reporting an argument between two people inside a car parked on the street. Officers from the Flying Squad, who responded to the scene, found the lifeless body of the 62-year-old man on the ground next to the vehicle. Investigations by the Mobile Squad, coordinated by public prosecutor Marco Dioni, led to the identification nearby of a 29-year-old Colombian national who matched the descriptions gathered by investigators. The man was taken to police headquarters and, following checks, placed under arrest as a murder suspect. The investigation also involved examining footage from surveillance cameras and interviewing witnesses, with the support of the scientific police unit.
