Milan, 14 Sept. (LaPresse) – Three people were injured following the sudden collapse of a large branch from a tree in Piazza Risorgimento in Milan. Two of them were taken to the Policlinico hospital with a ‘yellow’ emergency rating, whilst the third, a 41-year-old man originally from Bangladesh, is still under observation by the 118 emergency medical services and is in a more critical condition. Firefighters from Benedetto Marcello arrived at the scene and removed the large branch, which had broken off suddenly, leaving the three passers-by with no chance to escape, and secured the area. Local police were also present at the scene.
